How to Deal with Embarrassing Family

If you're angry with or embarrassed by your family, the next time you buy a wallet, don't bother removing those "phony" pictures of relatives in the photo compartment. Just pretend those people are your family. You might try giving them names and little personal histories.

Show the pictures to friends and say something like, "Here's my Uncle Roy. He's my favorite uncle."

If the person you're showing the picture to becomes suspicious and says, "Wait a minute, I've seen that picture before..." explain Uncle Roy is a professional "wallet model."
